Ping Default URLs feature in the upcoming version

November 29, 2005 by Dmitry

When posting with BlogJet, some blogging platforms didn’t send pings to web sites in their default ping list (for example, WordPress). To ping these sites, you had to type in the URLs manually. The upcoming version of BlogJet will have Default Ping URLs list:

Ping default URLs

and you’ll have an option to ping web sites in this list when sending your posts.

When I post with the new version 1.6 and put in my list of pings, it processes immediately. I am using Wordpress 1.5.2 and usually this process takes a couple of minutes. Is there a bug? Or have you figured out how to do all the pings that quickly?

    Thanks!
