BlogJet is mentioned in Law Practice magazine (Volume 32 Number 3, Page 42):

“This free (for 30 days, I guess? – D.C.) utility allows you to draft your blog posts without opening a browser. Just download it to your laptop and you can blog while you’re on the road.”

A few days ago guys from Textpattern announced the XML-RPC API for this excellent content management system, so now you can post to your Textpattern blogs (or sections) from BlogJet.

1. Download and install XML-RPC “plug in”.

2. In BlogJet create new account with the following settings:

Provider: WordPress (yes, you read it right)
Host: your blog’s domain
Page: /rpc

Specify your TextPattern login and password, select a blog and that’s it!

They currently don’t support direct image upload, so you also have to specify your FTP settings if you want to upload pictures.

The next version of BlogJet will have native “TextPattern” selection in providers list.
